Meet Jana Correia
Three generations of real estate experience and expertise.
Real estate, quite honestly, has always been a part of who I am. My grandmother spent many years as a real estate broker, which began our family's passion for real estate. My mother witnessed grandma's ability to truly care for her clients, multitask, and be the expert in the transaction. Using this very example of success, as a guide through the industry, my parents both emerged themselves into the business as well, and boy are they good at it.
Growing up as a child, my brother and I would spend our summers tagging along, to various properties, which my parents would fix and flip. So, I've definitely seen the "glamorous" world of flipping, and trust me, it's not like on TV. But, if done right, it can be worth it. As we grew older, they ventured deeper into the real estate industry as realtors, and have now been top producing agents, in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, for almost two decades. They make an amazing team, bringing two very different styles of approach, when working with their clients.
As their daughter, I've been able to absorb both sides of this, and I use that daily, when working with my own clients. To say I'm proud to be walking this same path in real estate, is an understatement. Perhaps my son, will one day follow in these footsteps as well. He too, is growing up, watching his grandparents and myself, conquer the industry. 4th generation realtor? We shall see!
First Impressions Matter
Jana's professional photography helps property owners sell faster.
Working with buyers and sellers, as a REALTORĀ®, is not the only professional experience I have in real estate. Actually, for over a decade, I've worked with countless agents across the country, providing professional photos for homes that are for sale or rent. Without the need to say, my listing services always include professional photography.
But, why is this important? Why does this make a difference? Well, it's no surprise that over 50% of buyers do their home shopping online. In fact, many buyers spend months looking at homes online before they ever contact an agent to take the next steps. Photos are truly your home's first impression, in today's world of Zillow and like-minded internet platforms.
Having professional photos, sets your listing above the rest. When buyers see poor quality photos, or "cell phone" photos, they likely won't even click to see more. This leads to longer market times, and ultimately can affect the $ amount you end up getting for your home. When a home has great photos, it not only catches a viewers eye, but it creates a more inviting impression which leads to more showings and higher sale prices. Being able to provide my sellers with the best photos, gives them confidence that their home is being presented in the best way possible.
The Jack Conway Difference
With so many brokers, why did Jana choose to work with Jack Conway?
As an agent, I have a choice of which brokerage I want to associate myself with. I'm not assigned to a company, or told who to work for. It's my responsibility, to decide the best one, and hope they like me too. As you're driving down Rt. 6, I'm sure you'll notice several real estate companies and offices. There are actually quite a few to choose from, here on the South Coast. So, why Jack Conway & Co?
Well, with my experience as a real estate photographer, I've gotten to know quite a few companies down the cape, and along the South Coast. Beyond that, I also chose a few companies that I was not as familiar with, and interviewed them in person. Although there are many great companies out there, it was very clear, that Jack Conway & Co, was not only the best company for me, but it was going to be the best company for any of my future clients. You see, it's not just about what the company does for me, as an agent.
I wanted to make sure, that it was a company I felt confident in, for the level of service I could provide my clients. They stop at nothing, to uphold the highest real estate standards, provide the best marketing for our sellers, affordable lending services for our buyers, endless agent education (at no cost to the agent), and more. But, I think the thing I liked most, was that it felt like home. Jack Conway & Co. is the largest independently run real estate company, in the state of MA. Their growth has not changed the "family owned" feeling, embodied by everyone in the company. The late Jack Conway himself, did an amazing job, with creating a company that had family values at its core. Following in his footsteps, is our current CEO, Carol Bulman, Jack's daughter. She's done an amazing job with instilling those same values, into the company it is today. It's no surprise, that Carol's adult children, are also now agents within the company. Currently, they are 3 generations deep, as realtors. Sounds familiar, right? As a third generation realtor myself, I guess maybe that's why it feels like home here.
